2004 Ryder Cup Crystal Candlesticks

These impressive 2004 Ryder Cup Waterford Crystal metropolitan cut glass candlesticks have both been etched with the Ryder Cup logo, date & venue. These were given to the Ryder Cup players and officials.

The 35th Ryder Cup Matches were held at the South Course of Oakland Hills Country Club. The European team won the competition by a margin of 18½ to 9½ points, The victory margin was the largest by a European team in the history of the event, and the largest by either side since 1981, when Team USA defeated Team Europe by the same score. It was also the largest margin of defeat for the USA since the competition started in 1927.
