Royal Doulton Lambeth Whiskey Pitcher
Originating as Doulton of Lambeth in 1815, Royal Doulton has been the name used to describe Doulton products since the Royal Warrant was granted in 1902. Doulton’s stoneware vessels were produced in the Lambeth borough of London and designed by John Broad in the art nouveau style relief.
This Royal Doulton Lambeth whiskey pitcher is circa 1904 and in excellent condition. Featuring raised rampant lions trade mark in white and 'COL BOGEY WHISKY' in white raised lettering to shoulders with black pictorial transfer showing golfers etc & ''COLONEL BOGEY WHISKY' A Most Stimulating Tonic for Golfers A very desirable and elusive example of the impressive Doulton salt glaze jugs.
