Wayne Grady captured the title at the 1990 PGA Championship held at the Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club, beating our Fred Couples by three strokes.

He was also runner up at The Open Championship in 1989, losing in a playoff against Greg Norman and Mark Calcavecchia.
