Born: Jan. 20, 1928 in Layfette LA.
Died: Dec. 30, 2000

Lionel Hebert won five times on the PGA Tour including the 1957 PGA Championship, the last to be held at match play. He beat Dow Finsterwald 2 and 1 at Miami Valley Golf Club.

Lionel also played on the 1957 Ryder Cup team.
